The all-new 2018 Dacia Duster has arrived with a whole new style, added technology and four outstanding trim levels to choose from.

Designed to take on every journey

At 4.3 metres long and 1.8 metres wide, the new Duster shares similar dimensions with the previous model, but every panel has been redesigned to create a more distinctive and rugged appearance. The large, black wheel arches perfectly highlight the 17-inch alloys and the larger front skid plate and creased front end tell you that this is a car that means business. The four red stacked squares of the rear lighting cluster create a striking appearance and perfectly complement the body shape.

A refined interior

The interior is modern but comfortable with the centre console perfectly positioned for intuitive control. The seats have been made with denser foam, improving support and durability. The driver’s seat has added support with an armrest and lumbar and height adjustment settings. There are three passenger headrests in the back.

Technology to enhance your drive

You’ll find plenty of helpful safety features to give you peace of mind, including blind spot warning and curtain airbags. There’s also a range of premium technology available including keyless entry, start/stop button, climate control, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Take the Duster off-road

The Duster isn’t just a city car with rugged styling; it’s a true SUV with genuine off-road credentials. The 4x4 model can take on a range of testing terrains with approach and departure angles of 30 and 33 degrees respectively. You can always make sure you’re at the right angle using the 4x4 monitor, which shows the vehicle’s angle in real time. And with a multi-view camera system, you’ll have full visibility of the surroundings, helping you to always make the right manoeuvre.

Choose your engine

There are two engines available at launch: the SCe 115 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre Blue dCi 115 diesel. The petrol engine offers 115 bhp with combined fuel consumption of 43.5mpg for the 4x2 and 40.7mpg for the 4x4. The diesel engine provides 115 bhp with a combined fuel consumption of 64.2mpg.

Most 4x2 models come with six-speed manual gearbox excluding the SCe 115 4x2 petrol model, which has a five-speed gearbox. The 4x4 edition uses a TL8 six-speed manual transmission with a shorter first-gear ratio, perfect for those tricky hill starts.

Four trim levels to choose from

Pick the perfect trim to suit your lifestyle. As standard, every new Duster comes with enhanced power steering, immobiliser, automatic door lock and ISOFIX points. The entry-level Access trim is one of the best value SUVs on the market and features 16-inch steel wheels and electric windows. The Essential trim adds body-coloured bumpers, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and DAB radio. Comfort adds alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, rear parking camera and sensors, heated door mirrors and the MediaNav 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system. The top-of-the-range Prestige version has everything from the other models as well as 17-inch alloy wheels, blind spot warning system, keyless entry and climate control.
