We understand that this is a concerning time for everyone. However, we are continuing to deliver as normal a service as possible, while always safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our customers and employees.
With this in mind, we’d like to make you aware of the following things we’re doing:
Opening hours: we are keeping to our normal working hours to give customers as much flexibility as possible in our Sales, Service, Parts, Bodyshop and Rental departments.
Hygiene measures: we’d like to assure you that we are taking all the appropriate safety measures in all our branches based on the latest government and NHS advice, including social distancing and the use of sanitiser, gloves and specialist cleaning products.
Vehicle collection and delivery: where possible, we will try to offer a collection/delivery service for our Servicing and MOT customers.
Our employees: following the most recent government guidelines, we are encouraging all employees classed as vulnerable to remain at home, and all those showing symptoms or sharing a household with anyone with symptoms to also remain at home. These employees will have access to remote working where possible.
arnoldclark.com and mobile app: our digital environment has been designed to give our customers the best online experience possible. Our stock continues to be updated on an hourly basis, with images and unique video tours available on the majority of our cars, both on our website and via our app. Customers can use our Deal Builder tool to value their part exchange and build a finance quote and we have added the ability to reserve a car online from the comfort of their own home. Our Internet Contact Centre remains fully operational and will respond to any customer enquiries quickly and efficiently.
At a time like this, we are all realising how invaluable our NHS and its employees are, and we need to pull together as a community to support them. As a result, in the coming weeks we will try to help NHS employees struggling with transport to and from their place of work. Please email CSR@arnoldclark.com and we will assist in any way we can.
As well as this, we have set aside two free, insured vehicles at each of our UK rental branches to be used locally if anyone needs them to assist vulnerable groups within their community.
