Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental is proud to announce that we are the new sponsors for the Newcastle University Women’s Rugby team (NWR).
NWR is an extremely successful premiership team that competes nationally, travelling as far north as Edinburgh and as far south as Birmingham. Arnold Clark has offered sponsorship that will help the team to buy a new kit and with travel expenses.
The team have been showing great strength this season: they managed to beat Northumbria in their friendly with a 50-5 win, and Nottingham with a 43-7 win!
The picture above shows the team when they were in Leeds to play the Leeds Metropolitan Women’s Rugby team. Although they lost this game, they put up a valiant fight and showed real determination throughout.
