Showtime drive-in movies comes to Glasgow

There’s something incredibly charming and magical about the drive-in movie experience. What could be more blissful than watching your favourites on the big screen beneath the stars from the comfort of your very own car?

We caught up with owner Will Stuttard and he told us: ‘One of the reasons we started this is that it's great fun going to a drive-in movie! It's nothing like going to the cinema. You sit comfortably in your own car with your friends and enjoy the show.

‘We broadcast the sound into your car via the radio, so you control the volume. This means you can have crazy loud action scenes, and chat with your friends at the slower parts, without the rest of the cinema complaining! We have the largest mobile cinema screens in the world, so you'll definitely get the best seat in the house wherever you're parked. My favourite film is Top Gun, which I'll be watching along with everyone at the show, popcorn in hand.’
