Arnold Clark would like to congratulate St Bridget’s Primary pupil Teigan Brodie for raising a whopping £1,933 for the Zak Scott Braveheart Foundation and donating her 10-inch locks to the Little Princess Trust– a charity which provides real hair wigs for children suffering with hair loss as a result of cancer treatment.

The Zak Scott Braveheart foundation is a fantastic cause that grants wishes to children suffering from heart conditions with the help of their cuddly mascot, Braveheart!

The foundation has donated hundreds of presents to families and delighted children with gifts including toys, swings and tablets. These invaluable items keep the children amused and occupied while they recover.

The charity has also recently purchased their own holiday home in Castle Douglas, which can be used by families to enjoy a short break and spend quality time together.

Harry Fairbairn’s contribution of £500 will be used to help the Zak Scott foundation keep up their brilliant work.

Teigan’s proud Mum Claire said, ‘Teigan had been asking to shorten her hair for a while and when she heard about the Little Princess Trust she decided she wanted to help. The response has been amazing – I honestly never thought we would raise what we did! We’d like to thank everyone who was involved: friends, family, local businesses, Mr Hopkins and all the staff and pupils at Teigan’s school. It’s been a great experience and we even got to go on Clyde One! We’re also so grateful to Arnold Clark for their generous donation of £500. We’re so happy that lots of children will be able to have their wishes granted by the Zak Scott Braveheart Foundation.’

Congratulations again Teigan! We think your new hair looks fab!
