The saving comes at just the right time, as summer is about to come into full swing. Why not put the money you’ve saved toward your upcoming holiday, or treat yourself to a nice weekend away? Whatever you do with it, we’re sure you’ll be happy to make such a great saving on what are some fantastic models.

Models on offer

Let’s take a look at the three models in a little more detail…

Renault Clio

The Renault Clio is a playful small car that performs well on the road. With smooth and flexible engines, the Clio is affordable to run, and has some excellent equipment, with Bluetooth, sat-nav, and air-con as standard.

The 0.9-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine is a nippy thing, and very efficient, too. Fuel economy is 62.8mpg and CO2 emissions are just 105g/km. If you opt for the Eco2 version, economy increases to 65.7mpg, and emissions come down to 99g/km. The most efficient option is the 89bhp 1.5-litre dCi, which can do 88.3mpg.

Renault Captur

The Renault Captur is stylish and practical, with lots of scope for personalisation, so you can have a car that truly captures your personality. Taking style cues from the Clio, the Captur adds some SUV appeal to deliver a capable machine with low running costs.

Five trims are available to choose from, including Expression, Expression+, Dynamique Media Nav, Dynamique S Media Nav and the upmarket Signature. Standard across all versions are alloy wheels, cruise control and electric windows.

There’s an engine to suit all needs, ranging from the 0.9-litre three-cylinder and 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol, and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel. All three have a five-speed manual gearbox apart from the petrol, which gets a six-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission.

The most efficient is the 1.5-litre diesel, which returns 76.4mpg and emits 95g/km of CO2. The smaller of the petrol offerings manages 56.5mpg and emits 115g/km, where the 1.2-litre unit reaches a respectable 52.3mpg and 125g/km CO2.

Renault Twingo

The Renault Twingo is perhaps the trendiest option in this list, and has recently been awarded ‘Design of the Year’ by Fleet World.

As with the Captur, personalisation means you can choose from a range of trim levels to get the Twingo you want. ‘Personalities’ on offer include Retro Racer, Casual Chic, Party, Techno and Urban.

The Play, Expression, Dynamique and Dynamique S are the four new versions, powered by a choice of two engines – the new 1.0 litre 70 bhp SCe three-cylinder normally aspirated engine and a dynamique TCe 90 with a 0.9 litre 90 bhp three cylinder turbocharged unit. C02 emissions are as low as 95g/km and fuel economy as high as 67.3mpg on the combined cycle.
