JD Power, a global marketing information service company, has compiled owners’ opinions on the best cars to own in the UK, and the DS3 has come out as the respondents’ favourite supermini to own and drive.
Appearing in the JD Power survey for the first time, the Citroen DS3 received an 82.2% satisfaction score (the overall industry average was 77.6%), with a maximum five-star rating awarded by its owners for Performance, Service and Running Costs.
It really was an excellent performance for the Citroen DS3’s debut: not only was the car crowned king of the superminis, knocking the Honda Jazz from its top spot, but it placed fourth overall out of 116 models in the survey (you can read more about the overall winner here).
Owners love a lot of things about the DS3, like its quirky styling, the attractive instrument panel, quality trim and upholstery and the sound system. Comfort was also highly rated, thanks to its easy-to-adjust driver’s seat, effective heating and air conditioning systems. On top of all that, the car doesn't see owners spending too much on fuel or on servicing.
Citroen dealers were also praised in this survey, with owners commenting on clean facilities and professionalism.
Managing Director of Citroen UK, Linda Jackson, said “This is a simply fantastic result for DS3 and the Citroen brand.
