Arnold Clark has been awarded December Employer of the Month by Developing the Young Workforce Glasgow, a youth employment strategy group. This award recognises the company’s investment in the next generation of workers and strong track record of employing young people.
In the last year, Arnold Clark has been helping young people learn more about the automotive industry, placing 238 people in work experience positions. In addition, 267 apprentice vacancies have been filled, helping young people gain the experience in order to build a long-term career within the industry.
Arnold Clark has a longstanding commitment to working with young people and since 2008 have been the lead supporter of the Prince’s Trust Achieve programme. Through this scheme, participants can learn about the recruitment process with CV workshops and mock interviews, as well as finding out more about a career in the automotive industry.

Arnold Clark’s apprenticeship credentials were recently highlighted as Toyota technician David McBride recently won Business Apprentice of the Year.
