Citroen will use the opportunity of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place this weekend, to show the word its new concept car – the DS3 Cabrio Racing (linked to Citroen’s involvement in the World Rally Championship.) The car will also be on show at the 65th Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The unique Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing will appear at Britain’s annual meeting of racing car enthusiasts in Sussex, combining the DS3 racing with the style of the Cabrio. Citroen claim that the Cabrio lends itself to this makeover thanks to its easy customisation and lightweight frame. Sebastian Loeb demonstrated how agile the car was when he drove it at Col du Corbier recently (see video.)
It will be clear to fans of the DS that many of identity statements are used throughout the concept car, such as the DS pattern and the Carmin colouring.
