We’re preparing for a new way of working in our branches

The wellbeing of our employees and customers is our main priority, so our branches will remain closed until government guidance changes. When advice does change, we’ll be ready with new ways of working.

How we’re preparing our branches

We’ll help you follow social distancing guidelines with arrows and markers on the floor to help everyone keep two metres apart, just like you’ve seen in supermarkets. We’ve also installed protective screens and created new contactless payment and paperwork processes. A number of hand sanitiser stations will also be available throughout our branches.

How we’re preparing our employees

We’ve put a number of new processes in place and every Arnold Clark employee has had to complete mandatory health and safety training to help them and our customers stay safe. Our employees will be given appropriate PPE and a minimum of two metres will be kept between working areas in line with social distancing guidelines.

What services are we offering?

When our employees return, our first priority will be to help customers who were most affected by the lockdown. First, we’ll clear our backlog of cars in our workshops and deliver them to our customers as quickly as possible. We’ll also begin delivering the cars to any customers who ordered them before the government lockdown began.

When will this happen?

We will keep customers informed when we are ready to open but this will all be in line with government guidelines.
