All of the players in the East Calder Colts U10’s team are from the West Lothian area and tirelessly train every Wednesday night.
And it is thanks to three dedicated coaches - Martin McMurray, Bob Iannelli and Stuart Duncan - that the East Calder Colts under 10’s team is able to continue training and progressing youngsters from the West Lothian area. Without volunteers like them, there would be no scope for children to practice their football skills on a weekly basis.
Arnold Clark Sighthill Motorstore manager Paul McClory commented “We are always delighted when we can help out local football teams with their strips. We know how important it is for children to feel the part when they step on to the football pitch because if you look the part, you play the part.
“It is so rewarding to know that we have been able to provide the local kids with something that will make their weekly hobby that little bit more enjoyable, and it eases the strain on parents who would otherwise need to pay for the new strips.”
