A firm favourite in the Arnold Clark head office, Stylist magazine recently collaborated with Ford– the new Ford Fiesta, to be specific – to produce a full edition of their ‘freemium’ women’s weekly publication in just 24 hours.
Inspired by the Ford Fiesta marketing campaign, which asks consumers what they would do with the new Ford Fiesta if they had it for 24 hours, the staff at Stylist made use of the supermini to produce an entire issue in the same timescale.
The award-winning magazine set up in a new pop-up office on Friday 8th November: a glass box in London where the public could view their stunt live. Work commenced at 10am on the Friday and the team had a deadline of 10am on the Saturday – and the hard-working staff managed to achieve their goal.
Over the 24 hours, the Stylist team offered up a Mexican street feast, a late-night burger fest and a cocktail hour, as well as makeovers, yoga classes and book group discussions. The hastily-produced magazine - available at prime commuter locations on Wednesday 20th November - therefore promises not to disappoint in terms of content.
With the New Ford Fiesta for transport, the team at Stylist would have been treated to features such as Ford SYNC (perfect for playing music, making and receiving calls, and even listening to text messages) and the EcoBoost engine, delivering phenomenal efficiency (up to 65.7mpg).
Ford says: "Like a brand new smartphone, the New Ford Fiesta combines contemporary style with state-of-the-art technology. And every feature’s designed to help you get the most out of your day.
"A range of innovative technologies will make your every drive safe, comfortable, entertaining, and fun."
