Skoda has taken the top three places in Britain’s most influential car reliability and satisfaction survey with its Yeti, Citigo and Superb models. Over 50,000 UK motorists completed the survey covering every detail of car ownership. Owners have reported across the board that they are satisfied with pretty much all aspects of Skoda ownership.
Walking away with the prestigious Best Manufacturer title, Skoda received winning results across its product range. Skoda Yeti took the top spot for a third year running, which is an incredible achievement. After its recent facelift it looks like it will be a difficult task for anyone to stop it winning the award for a fourth year in 2015. The Yeti was marked highly by owners for reliability, build quality and running costs.
In second place was the Citigo; crowned best small car and the most affordable to run in 2014. This follows on from winning Auto Express Car of the Year in 2012 and the Auto Express Best City Car in 2013. Skoda has also done a brilliant job of getting the most out of its small size; the Citigo’s interior rivals more expensive superminis for quality and space. Add in very low running costs and it’s easy to see the Citigo’s appeal.
In third place is the Superb. It has great engines, is brilliantly practical and incredibly reliable. Not only that but you get a lot of car for your money, including 595 litres of boot space– all helping it score highly.
